It's an old property and so are amenities but very well kept taken care by the very friendly staff. It's right in middle of downtown. Some rooms doesn't have Air conditioning but are equipped with fans. Best cheap deal for small get away.

The hotel is somewhat cheap, but still does not offer good value.
The furniture is long overdue for a renovation. As an example, even the handle on the fridge door was broken. There was still hair on the toilet seat, and on the bedding as well. Towels and bedding had stains, after we complained about the bedding it looked a lot cleaner than before but there were still stains on the washed bedding.
While parking was free, it is not guaranteed. When we arrived at 7pm all parking was taken and we had to park on the 2 hour slot in front of the hotel until one opened up at around 8pm.

The room itself was clean, and the surrounding area was acceptable. However, the overall experience was disappointing. When staff were available, they were not particularly welcoming or helpful.
The room did not have air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable. Additionally, the liquor store and pub located below the hotel, along with some nearby residents, generated significant noise for much of the evening.
I also noticed that emergency doors and windows were left open overnight and were only closed by the morning. The hallways and common areas had a noticeable musty odor, which further detracted from the stay.
The most redeeming aspect of the stay was the price, as it was one of the cheapest options in the area. Unfortunately, the overall experience reflected that cost. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Well I don’t think it was cleaned very well. I didn’t use the glassware. The bathroom still had evidence of previous visitors. The floor slanted. All of this is fine by me, I felt safe and the AC worked well. Easy access to building when staff not present. We really just needed a place to stay while visiting the area so the hotel met our needs. So it was fine!

This place is pretty dumpy. Check in was bad, I had to go back and forth between the front office and the attached liquor store. The woman who eventually checked me in was being guided on the phone by someone else on how to do it. She was very overwhelmed. There was a woman present who wanted a refund because her room was dirty when she checked in. (My room was clean, but very run down.) There was another couple who was debating leaving, I’m not sure why. And lastly, 18 minutes after I checked in, someone illegally charged over $1k on my credit card. I can’t prove it, but it sure seems like they stole my credit card number. Luckily Citibank shut the card down. Do your self a big favor: DON’T STAY HERE.
