Fantastic staff! Great coffee, outstanding room with lots of space and everything we needed. Wonderful view. Close to markets and dining. Easy parking.

The room was beautiful and the staff was excellent.. only thing there was stairs and no elevator so was hard for one of our party people.

Don’t get stuck in the “cozy “ room!!

Right on the water, but no decks or balconies to sit outside and enjoy the view. Host was friendly as she led us up two flights of stairs to the smallest room imaginable. Murphy bed was comfortable but the position was hard for we 70 yr olds to crawl in and out. We could not walk around to the bathroom without knocking into the wall hung TV. So small and claustrophobic. Not “cozy” as described. The basics of tea, coffee and ice were offered in the hallway. Bathroom was sufficient size. Host is young and we admired her efforts, but much is still needed. Don’t get stuck in the “cozy” room!

Owner is an angel! You will not regret staying here. Beautiful place!

Stephanie is an angel! Earlier this month we unknowingly booked an atrocious hotel through Expedia in Shelburne. After arriving at the other "motel" late in evening it was apparent I would not be staying. In a panic, I googled other hotels in the area and called Albert's. (It was well past 10pm). Stephanie answered the phone and after explaining my dilemma invited us right over. She not only gave us a place to stay last moment, she discounted our room and quickly put us at ease. Albert's is a beautiful spot and it is quite apparent Stephanie takes great pride in her place. We travel through Shelburne every year from the CAT ferry to Chester and will now make Albert's our overnight stay. Thank you Stephanie for everything!

Stephanie greeted us at the door as we arrived and welcomed us not only to Albert's (her establishment) but to Shelburne as a community. Stephanie had already provided us with the offer to make dinner reservations which we unfortunately declined as we had a very late lunch after driving in off the Digby ferry.
Everything about the check in process was enjoyable and we were provided direct access to Stephanie should something go amiss. Nothing went amiss other than your's truly messing up Stephanie's wonderful communal coffee/espresso/latte machine which Albert's staff had tidied up and made operational almost immediately.
All in all a wonderful experience and 1 night was not enough so I am already planning my trip back
