Pension Widderstein is the perfect snowboard holiday location

The location is perfect for a snowboarding trip. Its close to a bus stop. Its also just outside of any Apres Ski party sounds. A nice quiet spot.
The rooms were great and clean.
The breakfasts were some of the best food we found in St Anton( and we ate out twice a day for 8 days)
The host/owner is fantastic, helpful and friendly.
I highly recommend this wonderful spot.
The whole mountain is extremely expensive but the value we got in this space was more than we ever expected.

We spent a wonderful weekend at the Hotel Wiiderstein.

We were a group of eight people, and spent a wonderful weekend at the Hotel Wiiderstein. The rooms were not only wonderfully clean, but also offered a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains and the idyllic countryside – just to take a breath and feel good.
The absolute highlight, however, was the breakfast: Over 20 cheeses, many of them from the in-house cheese factory, as well as a selection of delicious homemade jams. Plus fresh, crispy rolls and various types of bread – all of the best quality.
Special praise goes to the boss of the house, who spoiled us with more than seven different egg dishes – from classic fried eggs with bacon to creative scrambled eggs variations. Such a breakfast service is really exceptional – here you are actually served princely!
Conclusion: This hotel is absolutely great. Warm, high-quality, managed with great attention to detail – here you feel completely at ease. We would definitely come back!

We will be back

A big shout out to the host family! From the warm welcome to the very well-equipped rooms to a stunning, lovingly prepared breakfast. Hospitality as you would hope for but rarely find it. Plus a very good location with a beautiful, wide view. Food mostly from our own hunting and production, a trustworthy fridge, sauna on request, parking in front of the door and rivers to the Lechweg and the village. In winter, a stone's throw from the slopes.

A Gem in the Austrian Mountains

From the moment we arrived at Pension Widderstein, and were warmly welcomed by the owner Annette, we knew we had made the right choice. This beautiful Pension is one of the most special places at which we have ever stayed. Our room had a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains and was extremely spacious and delightfully designed and decorated. Everything was comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were delicious and the atmosphere warm and friendly. I highly recommend this very wonderful Pension.
