Enchanted Kingdom: All you need to know before your visit

Enchanted Kingdom is undoubtedly the most popular theme park in the Philippines. It has been a staple trip destination for schools and families in Luzon. This place has been enjoyed by several other celebrations, from birthday to weddings, even team-building, and corporate family events. Till now, the theme song “Everyday every day, every day the magic is here…” will welcome you to this magical land.

The theme park is located in Santo Rosa, Laguna, in the southern part of Manila. They started spreading wonder when they opened on October 19, 1995. They were the first and largest theme park in the Philippines at that time. The park has a land area of 25 hectares, housing 20 rides, and attraction.

Enchanted Kingdom Rides

The park offers seven themed areas, Victoria Park, Portabello, Boulderville, Midway Boardwalk, Brooklyn Place, Spaceport, and Jungle Outpost. Each of the seven areas has one sought-after attraction.

  • The Victoria Park boasts sixty Victorian-styled horses and two chariot carousels. In front of the Grand Carousel, the Enchanted Kingdom sign lights up at night, making the ride look more majestic and grander.
  • Portabello based from the Carribean holds the Rio Grande Rapids. This ride let you board a rubber raft and throws you to a refreshing water adventure. You’ll be traversing the fast rapids with raging water and small waterfalls, so make sure you have your electronics in a waterproof container.
  • Boulderville will remind you of the wonders of Dinosaurs, with it’s Dino themed rides. It has multiple rides that kids of all ages will enjoy, from the train ride of Boulderville Express, merry go round rides in the Stone Eggs, Bumbling Boulders, and Dinosoarus, to more extreme rides like Bouncing Boulder. Kids (young ones to be exact) can even enjoy some water rides in the Boulderville Kiddie Boats.
  • Midway Boardwalk, on the other hand, offers a more thrill-seeking ride. This themed area is patterned after the Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York. The Anchors Away, EKstreme Tower and Roller Skater can be all found in this area. Another notable ride would be the Wheel of Fate, a Ferris wheel that can lift you up to 130 feet above the ground and enjoy the view of the whole park.
  • Brooklyn Place houses only one attraction, Rialto 4D. This area is based in the wartime New York and Silent Film era. Rialto is a motion stimulated theater which houses up to 108 seats. It is currently showing Barnyard Breakout and Polar Ice Ride.
  • Spaceport houses Park, which sits near the entrance of the park, hold The Grand Carousel. Upon entry, they are greeted by the famous Space Shuttle, the roller coaster that will turn you upside down 6 times, 3 times going forward and 3 times back, all that thrill in under two minutes. Space shuttle is known for its gravity challenging thrill and shrieking screams of those who are in it.
  • Lastly, the Jungle Outpost, which holds another roller coaster ride, but with a twist, Jungle Log Jam. This ride offers the same thrill of riding a roller coaster but also gives the rider a refreshing splash of water.

Enchanted Kingdom Schedule

The park is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The weekday and weekend schedule are as follows.

Wednesday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm   

Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm

Enchanted Kingdom Rates

The park offers two price rates, the weekday rates, and the weekend rates.

Weekday Rates:

  • Regular Day Pass (ride-all-you-can) Php800
  • Junior Day Pass (For guest between 3ft to 4 ft) Php500
  • Senior Citizen Pass Php500
  • Junior PWD Pass Php350

Weekend Rates

  • Regular Day Pass (ride-all-you-can) Php900
  • Junior Day Pass (For guest between 3ft to 4 ft) Php600
  • Senior Citizen Pass Php600
  • Junior PWD Pass Php400

How to go to Enchanted Kingdom

Enchanted Kingdom is just an hour ride away from the airport. A justifiable commute to visit a magical place. A car rental would be a good choice if you want to check out more of the southern part of Metro Manila. Check out car rental choices here.

If car rentals do not suit your preference, they also have a shuttle service from Makati (in front of Dusit Thani Manila Hotel) to Enchanted Kingdom. This will be something easier to prepare especially if you don’t want to get lost as the travel is end to end. Schedule and rates are as follows.

  • Enchanted Kingdom to Makati/Alabang 9:15 PM
  • Weekends and Holidays

  • One Day Pass with Shuttle Service (Roundtrip)
  • Weekday – Php1100

Via FX/Van

  • From Shaw Blvd, ride an FX/Van to Balibago (Waltermart: Sta Rosa. Laguna)
  • Fare is around Php80, while transit time is around 45-60 minutes

Via Bus

  • Ride a JAC Liner Bus to Balibago (Waltermart: Sta Rosa. Laguna)
