Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden – Located in Cincinnati, it is the second oldest zoo in the country. Its Reptile House is also the oldest zoo building in the United States. The zoo convers a land area of 75 acres and is home to over 1,800 animals across over 500 species.

Cincinnati Museum Center at Union Terminal – Originally the Cincinnati Union Terminal, it was once a passenger railroad station. The building now houses museums, theaters and a library. It is also a venue for many traveling exhibitions. The building itself is also worth a visit. It was designed and built with an Art Deco style and features the largest semi-dome in the western hemisphere.

Cleveland Metroparks Zoo – Located in Cleveland, the zoo covers a land area of 183 acres and is divided into several themes: Australian Adventure; African Savanna; Northern Trek; The Primate, Cat and Aquatics Building; The Rainforest and the Waterfowl Lake. The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is considered to have one of the largest collections of primates in North America. It is home of over 3,000 animals across over 600 species.

Three main international airports – Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport (CLE), Port Columbus International Airport (CMH) and James M. Cox Dayton International Airport (DAY) – serve the general population of Ohio State. However, the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) serves Cincinnati City, which is located in Hebron in the neighboring state of Kentucky. The Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Airport (PKB) also serves the city of Marietta, which is located in Williamstown in the neighboring state of West Virginia.
