Al Ain International Airport is located 18 km west north west of the Al Ain city center. It is Abu Dhabi’s second international airport and is considered the 4th busiest airport in the United Arab Emirates. Although most international flights enter the United Arab Emirates at the much larger airports at Dubai or Abu Dhabi, Al Ain is set to double the capacity of its airport facilities to cater to the growing number of visitors to the city.

Al Ain takes its name from the arabic word meaning The Spring. It is also known as Garden city of the United Arab Emirates largely due to its many famous oases and lush greenery. Al Ain is also one of the world's oldest permanently inhabited settlements, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Located approximately 160 km east of the capital Abu Dhabi and about 120 km south of Dubai, Al Ain also shares a border with Oman.

the 12km long winding road to the top, and once you get to the peak, you will have a spectacular 360 degree view of the city.

Al-Khrair Animal Souq

The famed Al-Khrair Animal Souq is open every day. Breeders and buyers from all over the UAE, including merchants and shepherds from different tribes come together for a lively trading of camels and goats. Tourists can observe and have their photographs taken for a fee.

Al Ain Oasis

The biggest of several oases in region, the oasis is made up of thousands of date palms. Narrow roads run through the oasis, so you can drive through it, or you can walk. A small restaurant/coffee shop is located in the middle. Walking in the oasis is especially nice when the sun is not directly overhead, as the palm trees offer cooling shade.

Wadi Adventure

This is Middle East’s first man made whitewater rafting, kayaking and surfing destination.  They have a zip line, giant swing and climbing wall, a wave pool and a variety of food outlets. The park’s 3.3 metre man-made surf wave is the world’s largest and its 1.7 kilometre kayaking channel network is the world’s longest.

Al Ain Raceway

Al-`Ain is also home to Arabia’s largest International standard go-kart circuit. Al Ain Raceway has an international standard 1.6 km go-kar)ng track that is a popular leisure destination as well as venue for world sporting events.
