Gurminj Museum of Musical Instruments - The Gurminj Museum of Musical Instruments, or Gurminj Museum, was founded in 1990 by Tajik actor, musician, and National Artist Gurminj Zavkibekov (1929-2003). The museum houses about 100 musical instruments, primarily representing the Pamiri and Badakhshani musical tradition. The facility is also used to host several cultural gatherings and events.

Dushanbe Zoo - Dushanbe Zoo, also known as Dushanbe Zoological Park, is located next to the Pamir Stadium. The zoo was founded in 1960, and today houses about 600 animals. Dushanbe Zoo is the only institution in Tajikistan that supports wildlife such as brown bears, black bears, donkeys, wolves, jackals, raccoons, snakes, and caymans, in captivity.

National Museum of Antiquities - The National Museum of Antiquities of Tajikistan is located in Dushanbe and was opened in 2001. One of the most visited museums in the city, the museum's most popular display is the 13-m long sleeping Buddha, the largest Buddha figure on display in Central Asia.

Pamir National Park - Pamir National Park, also called Tajik National Park, is the national park and nature reserve established in 1992 in the eastern part of the country. The park comprises of a mix of steppe, grassland, desert, and alpine regions and is known to be home to several animal species such as snow leopard, wolves, Marco Polo sheep, and brown-headed gulls.

Fann Mountains - One of Tajikistan's most notable features is the Fann Mountains, located in the Sughd Province, between the Zarafshan Range and the Gissar Range. The best time to visit for trekking is May to October, and for mountaineering is July to September.
