Driving around Vitoria Airport
The Avenida Fernando Ferrari dual carriageway passes outside the airport. This connects to a number of important roads in the region, and also into the city. If you're not familiar with Vitoria or the surrounding area, you can hire a car that includes a sat-nav system. Traffic in Brazil drives on the right-hand side of the road. This can take a bit of getting used to if you don't drive abroad very often.

It takes just over ten minutes to drive into downtown Vitoria in light traffic. Like all cities, Vitoria can become quite congested during rush hour. We recommend choosing a hotel with a private car park and using public transport to explore the town. Save your hire car for excursions to the beaches and state parks.

It takes about an hour and five minutes to drive to Guarapari from Vitoria Airport. The city is at its busiest during the summer months (December to February) so expect full car-parks and busy streets. We recommend booking your hotel early and making sure it has its own private parking facilities.

It takes about an hour to drive to Domingos Martins from Vitoria Airport. Most of the hotels in and around the city offer private car parking for guests. If your hotel doesn't have a car park the reception staff should be able to point you in the right direction.
