Narita International Airport, Tokyo, Japan

Narita International Airport is one of two airports serving as a gateway to Tokyo, Japan. This airport that was inaugurated in 1972, began first as a one-terminal airport, with the purpose of alleviating the passenger load at Haneda International Airport. Almost 40 million passengers pass through its doors each year now. Narita International Airport has become an equal to its older sister airport, offering an impressive array of shopping, facilities, and world-class service.

Narita International Airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 is separated into the North Wing and the South Wing. Both terminals serve domestic, American, and international airlines.

The two wings at Terminal 1 serves about 40 airlines, which includes industry heavyweights like Lufthansa, Etihad Airways, United Airlines, Singapore Airlines, and Delta Airlines. Terminal two, on the other hand, serves about 35 airlines, including Emirates, British Airways, and Japan Airlines.

To move between terminals, you can take the Terminal Shuttle Bus Service that operates between 6.30am to 10.30pm. They operate every 10-20 minutes, and is a 10-minute ride to your destination.

The arrival and departure areas are furnished with nurseries, bank or money exchange, and smoking points. Departing from Japan on international flights, you will have a chance to shop at a dazzling array of Duty-Free Shops and Brand Boutiques.
