The Godofredo P. Ramos Airport, more popularly known as Caticlan airport, is one of the main gateways to the most popular destination in the Philippines - Boracay Island. It is mainly serving the town of Malay in the province of Aklan. Flights going in and out of the Caticlan airport are domestic flights. It is the hub for South East Asian Airlines (SEAIR), which has the most flights to Boracay.
The Caticlan airport has been undergoing renovation in partnership with private corporation TansAire Development Holdings under a build-operate-transfer scheme. The said company will operate Caticlan airport for 25 years based on the agreement with the Philippine government. The development is expected to be fully completed by 2013.
