Legazpi Airport is a domestic airport in the Bicol region of the Philippines. It is located in the city of Legazpi, which is the capital of the Albay province. Legazpi has a population of just under 200,000 people, and it is the center of economy, tourist, and commercial activity in the region. Legazpi is also known as a business friendly city, and has some of the best infrastructure in the Philippines. Consequently, Legazpi Airport is also one of the busiest airports in the region. How to Get Around

Legazpi Airport is located approximately 5 kilometers from the downtown area. To get to the city center, travellers can either take a taxi or a tricycle. A tricycle is a motorcycle with a large sidecar for the passengers. This should take 15 minutes depending on traffic, and may cost 50-60 pesos depending on how much you bargain and the time of day. Taxis should also be available outside the airport. Alternatively, travellers can arrange for an airport transfer through their hotel.
