Wizz Air Ukraine Cheap Flights & Promo Fares

Conceived on July 11, 2008, Wizz Air Ukraine Airlines LLC, or simply Wizz Air Ukraine, is a value-oriented low-cost airline operating on key cities in Europe and a few points in Asia. It flies to 16 destinations in 10 countries, and is a localized division of its sister, Wizz Air Hungary. It is based in Kyiv Zhuliany International Airport in Ukraine, with a fleet of two Airbus A320-200. Its mother company, Wizz Air, was founded in 2003 when six individuals with a wide range of airline expertise and excellent track records came together to formulate and conceive an airline that will serve as an option to fly comfortably without the steep cost. Wizz Air was then registered in the same year, and the first destination and flight took off on the 19th of May, 2004, from Katowice. Today, the airline travels to a total (both localized airlines) of 300 routes, particularly in the European countries of Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine, Serbia, Czech Republic, Macedonia, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, and Germany, plus two Asian countries, Cyprus and Georgia. Together with its impressive services and passenger handling, as well as the airline's crew expertise, flying with Wizz Air Ukraine will definitely be a wonderful experience.

Why Fly with Wizz Air Ukraine

How to Check In

As part of its thrust in reducing costs and offering cheap fares to passengers, Wizz Air Ukraine offers its passengers free web check-in options on all flights. Unlike checking in through the airport counters, web check-in does not require its passengers to queue and does not charge a cent. Although passengers will be asked to print their own boarding cards and present these together with their travel documents, web check-in is pretty convenient considering that it is available from 30 days to three hours before the scheduled flight departure time.

Baggage Allowance & Fees

Passengers are allowed to carry a maximum of six pieces of luggage with one baggage free of charge as specified and subject to the conditions and limitations in Wizz Air Ukraine Regulations. The subsequent five luggage pieces are charged accordingly, depending on the seasons and where you will pay the fees. Baggage space can be purchased through the airport, Wizz Air’s website, through the free mobile app, or the airline’s contact center. Other items such as sporting equipment, diplomatic baggage, fragile and/or bulky items, musical instruments, or ashes of the dead are also subject to the rules and regulations of Wizz Air Ukraine. Sometimes, the airline does not allow the baggage to be loaded in the aircraft if the items are not suitably packed or if the size is too big. Passengers may opt to buy a spare seat to place the items, subject to weight limitations.

As a low-cost air service, Wizz Air offers Economy class all its flights. Although passengers only enjoy a standard 30-32 inch seat pitch, the superb services they offer will compensate for seating on coach. Besides, flights with the airline only last for a minimum of 45 minutes to a maximum of two to three hours, depending on the destination, so the coach seats are considerable.

Inflight Services

Wizz Air Ukraine offers great inflight services for passengers to enjoy. These include the Wizz Cafe which is the official inflight catering service of the airline, and Wizz Boutique, where shopping meets the comfort of your airline seat. A wide selection of light meals and cold drinks await passengers boarding the flights, while a selection of perfumes, jewelry, and other items can be purchased through the Wizz Boutique catalog and can be paid online or through credit cards.
