If you are flying via Vanilla Air, you can check-in in two ways: web check-in and airport check-in. In web check-in, you just need to go online and visit the company’s official website, input the necessary information like your name, destination, air ticket number, and so on. Afterwards, a digital copy of your boarding pass is going to be sent to your email. Bear in mind, though, that web check-in is not available for international flights. In airport check-in, you simply need to go to Vanilla Air’s self kiosk or desk, submit the required paperwork that may include your air ticket, passport (if applicable), and identification document, to name a few.

Once you have received your boarding pass, you may proceed to the security check and immigration control. Please note that for all international flights, Web Check-in is unavailable as counter staff will need to validate all travel documents before issuing the boarding pass. For international travelers, please arrive at least 1-2 hours before your flight and be at the gate at least 20 minutes before depature.

At Mactan-Cebu Airport, the departure counters are 30-34 and open at least 1-3 hours before departure time. On arrival, you may take a taxi from the airport to downtown for about 400PHP for an hour long ride.

Baggage Allowance

You can be rest assured that your baggage are going to be well taken care of if you are flying via Vanilla Air. But you need to be mindful of its guidelines if you want to avoid inconvenience. For instance, you can bring a checked baggage that is free of charge, just as long as it is within 20 kilograms. However, you can bring several ones with a combined weight limit of 100 kilograms for a fee. In line with this, make sure that none of them exceeds the individual weight limit of 32 kilograms. As for carry on baggage, you can only bring 1 item with a weight limit of 7 kilograms.

Seating

Vanilla Air’s seats are comfortable, well-padded, and come with appropriate headroom and legroom. But if you want one that is more cozy and complemented with better headroom and legroom, then you are encouraged to opt for a business class seat that you can avail with a little extra fee.
