Regent Airways Cheap Flights & Promo Fares

Regent Airways is a Bangladesh-based airline owned by HG Aviation Ltd, a subsidiary of Habib Group. The airline is headquartered at Siaam Tower in Uttara, Dhaka, and based at Shahjalal International Airport. The airline was founded in 2010, and commenced operations on 10 November that same year. In 2013, Regent Airways launched international flights to Kuala Lumpur in July, Bangkok in October, Chittagong-Kolkata in Octobar, Dhaka-Kolkata flights in November, and Singapore in December. There are plans to begin operating additional routes to Hong Kong, Guangzhou, Doha, and Muscat in the future.

Baggage Allowance & Fees

Free baggage allowance for checked and unchecked baggage of each passenger depends on the class of the ticket. Those in the Economy class are entitled to a maximum of 20kg of free baggage allowance, while those in Business class can bring up to 30kg. Children between 2 to 12 years of age paying 75% of the applicable adult base fares are given the same free baggage allowance as a full adult fare-paying passenger. On the other hand, accompanied infants less than two years of age for whom 10% of the adult fare is paid are allowed 10kg of free baggage allowance. The limit of carry-on baggage to be brought inside the cabin should not exceed 7kg and must fall within the standard carry-on baggage size specification. Each passenger is allowed only one piece of hand baggage, which will be labeled with a security sticker after it has gone through the mandatory security check. In addition to the one piece of hand baggage, passengers are also permitted to carry the following items, provided they also follow security regulations: a lady's hand bag, an overcoat, a blanket, a rug, a camera or binoculars, reading material (of reasonable amount), infant food for the flight and infant's carrying basket, a collapsible wheelchair, a pair of crutches, or braces (if passenger is dependent on it), a walking stick, an umbrella, a shaving kit, and medicines required during flight.

Inflight Food

Regent Airways provides its passengers an array of food and beverages, ranging from light snacks to full meals, traditional local cuisine to Western and Chinese dishes, to make the flying experience as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Snacks offered on domestic flights include sandwiches, roasted peanuts, and mango bars. For international flights, the menu comprises of various meals prepared by professional chefs.

Inflight Entertainment

Newspaper and magazines will be provided on Regent Airways' domestic flights for entertainment. Passengers can choose from a varied line-up of English and Bengali newspapers and magazines. For international flights, the on-board entertainment includes a wide range of local and international films and TV series, and a great selection of reading materials.

Regent Airways operates commercial passenger service around Bangladesh, as well as to four international destinations. It handles domestic flights to and from Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, Cox's Bazar Airport in Cox's Bazar, Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong, and Osmani International Airport in Sylhet. International flights are to Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok, Thailand, Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata, India, Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and Singapore Changi Airport in Singapore.
