Founded in 1994, Montenegro Airlines is the flag carrier of Montenegro in the Balkan region. The airline has its headquarters at Podgorica Airport. It also operates scheduled and charter passenger services from its secondary base at Tivat Airport. Montenegro Airlines flies to 17 destinations across Europe including Zurich, Frankfurt, Rome, Paris, Vienna, Belgrade, Moscow, Copenhagen, London and Saint Petersburg. The seasonal charter flights are to destinations such as Helsinki, Tel Aviv, Bratislava, Naples and other cities.

The is no web check-in service for all Montenegro Airlines flights at the moment. Passengers would need to check-in at the airport counters. It is recommended for passengers to be at the airport two hours before the scheduled flight departure time with all the relevant travel documents as the check-in counter closes 30 minutes before departure.

Seating Guide

Montenegro Airlines has a small fleet that consists of Embraer 195 and Fokker 100 aircraft. These are mostly single-class aircraft. The Embraer features standard leather seats that are 18.25” wide and laid in a 2-2 configuration. The Fokker aircraft has 17” wide seats with a 30” seat pitch in a 2-3 layout. The seats at the front rows and exit row will have more legroom.

Baggage Allowances and Fees

There is free carry-on baggage allowance for all passengers up to a maximum weight of 10 kilograms. Each passenger is allowed only one carry-on bag that fits within dimensions not exceeding 115 cm. The checked baggage allowance depends on the class of service and the flight route. Economy Class passengers can check-in one piece of baggage at 23 kilograms. Business Class passengers will get an allowance of 2 pieces at 32 kilograms each. Gold or Silver Class members of their frequent flyer program will get extra baggage allowances. Economy Class passengers' will increase to 32 kilograms, while Business Class passengers will get an allowance of 2 pieces at 34 kilograms each. Infants will also be given a free checked baggage allowance of 10 kilograms.

In Flight Service

F&B: There are complimentary light snacks and beverages provided on all flights with Montenegro Airlines. Most of the flights are short-haul flights, so usually, sandwiches or pastries are served. There is also a small selection of soft drinks and juices. There is no alcohol served on Montenegro Airlines.

Entertainment: There is no in-flight entertainment or duty-free shopping. The flight, however, carries the airlines' in-flight magazine, Luxury.
