Why Fly with Hawaiian Airlines

Ways To Check-In

Hawaiian Airlines offers passengers two ways to check-in for your flights – online and at the airport. It is recommended to check-in online for your convenience where you can print your boarding passes and purchase additional baggage if needed. With the convenience of online or mobile check-in, passengers of Hawaiian Airlines can check-in, select seats or purchase baggage allowance online starting from 24 hours before flight departure time.

If you have special travel requirements or prefer to check in at the airport, you can also check in either at the counter or the self-service kiosks. Hawaiian Airlines also offers the TSA PreCheck program at some airports for selected passengers to expedite the screening procedure. Simply arrive at the airport with ample time to allow for baggage check, security clearance, and immigration processes. Once at the airport, proceed to the assigned counter or use any of the self-service check-in kiosks which are available in selected airports.

For those traveling out of the Honolulu Airport, there is a third option of checking-in – by drive through. This service is only available at this airport and for flights to Neighbor Island and North America. Drive-through check-in is located on the ground level Mauka or mountain side of the Neighbor Island Terminal. It is available from 4 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon.
