Continental Micronesia Flights

Continental Micronesia, Inc. or simply Continental Micronesia was an aviation service provider that was a wholly owned and subsidized entity of Continental Airlines. Established in 1968 as Air Micronesia, it operated regular flights to Hawaii, Asia, and Australia, among other destinations from its headquarters in Antonio B. Won Pat International Airport in Guam, a United States territory that is located in the western Pacific Ocean. On December 2010, the merger of Continental Airlines and United Airlines resulted in the cancelation of Continental Micronesia’s operating certification. Even though, Continental Micronesia was still a corporation at that time, all the flights that it served were directly handled by Continental Airlines, its principal company. These developments eventually led to Continental Micronesia ceasing operations.
