Flights to Naga

Naga Airport is a principal domestic airport serving the general area of Naga City in the Philippines. Located in the capital Pili of the Camarines Sur province in southern Luzon, the Airport operates two airlines, Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines, connecting to the city of Manila.

Getting around

The Airport is accessible by road, so a car or taxi ride taking about 15 minutes should do the trick.

What to see and do

For a quick thrill, head to the custom-designed wakeboarding park at the Camarines Sur Watersports Complex in the city of Pili. This park is the host of one of the international legs of the Wakeboarding World Championship series. Surf down the waters at this park, or you may chance upon a dragon boat race on the boat lake here.

This area is also famed for its great food, which brings visitors flocking for the tantalizingly spicy specialities. There is a free shuttle service from Naga Airport to the Watersports Complex.

Camarines Sur is also home to the beautiful shores of Caramoan, on the northeast border of the region. It might take you an extended journey of a few hours to drive from Naga Airport to Caramoan, but the white soft-sand beaches and lush tropical backdrop of this coast is a treat well worth the time.

You may also take a trip down to the nearby city of Naga, which is home to a generous collection of colonial-style buildings and well-maintained historical shrines. The Naga Metropolitan Cathedral is a good place to start – it is a prominent Latin Rite Roman Catholic landmark that was erected as far back as the 16th Century. Its Spanish-Romanesque stone pillars, high arched entrance, and a symmetrical belfry that tops its stout silhouette makes for quite the romantic sight to behold in this quiet town.

Naga City is also home to the Malabsay Falls, a spectacular gem hidden in the rainforest national parks outside the city. Although considerably inaccessible, this little lagoon nestled beneath a serene waterfall is a popular spot for locals and travelers to take a trek, an afternoon picnic, or a cooling dip and dive.

The Panicuason Hot Springs is another treat for the weary soul; take a 15-minute drive up Mt. Isarog, where five calming pools with different temperatures await amidst the rich emerald foliage of the surrounding tropics.
