Bangkok is the capital and the largest city in Thailand. As one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country, Bangkok offers various attractions, including temples, historical landmarks, palaces and museums. The bustling city is also a known shopping destination in Southeast Asia with the presence of flea markets around Bangkok. Bangkok is mainly served by Suvarnabhumi Airport, which is used by all domestic and international airlines with the exception of Nok Air and Orient Thai, which use the old Don Muang Airport. However, due to the recent flooding in the city, both airlines are now flying to Suvarnabhumi. Since Suvarnabhumi has only one terminal, passengers from all domestic and international flights in and out of Bangkok go through this terminal, making the airport one of the busiest in the country. Thai Airways, Thailand's flagship carrier, offers daily flights to Bangkok from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Manila. From the Philippines, Cebu Pacific and Philippine Airlines have daily flights to the city from Terminals 2 and 3 of NAIA, respectively.
